For a mid-sized system involving multiple locations, such as a corporation, a government office, or a school. The IP surveillance system is divided into multiple sub-networks. The core of Each sub-network is a PrestoGate product. The PrestoGate creates a camera network, separated from you data network, so that the video recording uses zero bandwidth on your data network. The PrestoGate's built-in firewall blocks any attacks or unauthorized accesses, either from the data network, or from camera front end. 

Multiple sub-networks are managed by the PrestoView-Server software. If central recording and backup is needed, you can conveniently add one or more PrestoNVRs of your choice and your central office. You can access your video surveillance locally from a PC on your data network, or remotely  anywhere on the Internet.
