For a large-sized system involving multiple locations, such as an enterprise, public safety, or a financial institue. The IP surveillance system is divided into multiple sub-networks. The core of Each sub-network is a PrestoGate product. The PrestoGate creates a camera network, separated from you data network, so that the video recording uses zero bandwidth on your data network. The PrestoGate's built-in firewall blocks any attacks or unauthorized accesses, either from the data network, or from camera front end. 

Multiple sub-networks are managed by a central server, the PrestoCMS. You can conveniently add one or more PrestoNVRs of your choice and your central office. You can access your video surveillance locally from a PC on your data network, or remotely  anywhere on the Internet. 

If you video surveillance system requires hundreds of or even thousands of monitoring stations, you can add one or more PrestoStreamer products to provide the streaming services. Multiple PrestoStreamers can work together in a load-balanced manner. They can be managed through the Central Management Server (CMS).
